Johan de Heer
Director of T-Xchange
Dr. Johan de Heer is director of the T-Xchange – a joint venture between Thales Research & Technology NL and the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
T-Xchange is a knowledge institute on serious gaming and process facilitation. Johan holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from Tilburg University, and did a post doc on human decisionmaking supported by ICT. Obtained his masters in the same field form the University of Nijmegen and studied electronics at Han university.
Previously he worked at the top technology institute on telematics where he was expert group leader on the edge of cognition and technology. Further, he was a researcher at the Nijmegen Institute on Cognition and Information in cooperation with TNO’s visual information processing department.
